Wednesday April 14, 2021 – The Scioto varsity team faced off against Franklin Heights on a sunny spring evening, at home, and came away with a decisive victory.
Final score was 15 to 2 against the Golden Falcons!
The Irish offense took off on Wednesday:
- Madi Comstock went 3-4 with a triple and a single!
- Lacey Henry was 2-3 with a single and a double
- Caroline Piatt also went 2-3 with 2 singles
- Faith Kinzer rounded out the 2-3 club with a single and double
On the defensive side, Taylor Henry struck out 5 of the Golden Falcons. Jess Jacobs finished off the final inning of the game and threw another K for a game total of 6!
The other good news?! The Junior Varsity notched their first win against Franklin Heights with a score of 25-7!
