April 8, 2023 – Groveport Madison High School: The Dublin Scioto team fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 6-3 loss to Grove City Greyhounds on Saturday. Their varsity scored on a double by Brooklynn Orahood, a single by Mallory Masterson, an error, and an error in the first inning.
The Greyhounds got things moving in the first inning, scoring one run when Orahood doubled.
Cami O’Neal took the win for Grove City. O’Neal lasted seven innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out nine.
Taylor Henry toed the rubber for Scioto. The bulldog surrendered six runs on six hits over six innings, striking out six.
Hunter Fadorsen went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Dublin Scioto Varsity Irish in hits.
Adyson Sigman led Grove City Greyhounds Varsity with two hits in four at bats.
