April 14, 2023 – Worthington Kilbourne High School: Scioto snatched the lead late in the game in a 3-1 victory over the Kilbourne Gray Wolves on Friday.
The game was tied at one with the Irish batting in the top of the fifth when Hunter Fadorsen singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
The pitching was strong on both sides. Taylor Henry struck out six, while Becca Boue sat down ten.
Henry was credited with the victory for Dublin. She went seven strong innings, allowing only one run on five hits, striking out six and walking zero – epic battle in the circle!
Boue led things off for the Gray Wolves. She allowed seven hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out ten.
Dublin socked one home run on the day. Bella Jauregui – of course – had a four-bagger in the fifth inning, making it her fourth game in a row! She’s is on fire at the plate!
Lexie Richie led the Irish with two hits in four at bats.
Brynley Rung went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Worthington Kilbourne in hits.
The Junior Varsity had the day off.
Both teams travel to Westerville North on Monday afternoon – we’ll see you out there!

Also – the Home Run Derby is on Sunday (4-16) and should start around noon – depending on the weather (rain is forecast.) There will be a food truck! We’ll see you out there!
