May 3, 2023 – Dublin Scioto High School: The Irish jumped out to an early lead over Westerville North and took home a 5-3 victory on Wednesday. Scioto scored on a single by Bella Jauregui and a single by Leah Matter in the first inning.
Taylor Henry was the winning pitcher for Dublin. The bulldog went seven innings, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out eight and walking one.
S. Minister took the loss for the Warriors. The pitcher surrendered five runs on four hits over six innings, striking out nine.
Jauregui led the Irish with two hits in two at bats.
N Pyke went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Westerville North in hits.
