Four RBI Day for Madi Comstock Leads Dublin Scioto Past Worthington Kilbourne

April 26, 2022
Battle of Hard Road – Part Two!

If you don’t like the weather in Ohio… just wait a few minutes. Or two hours.

Madi Comstock was bad news for opposing pitchers on Monday, driving in four on two hits to lead the Irish past Kilbourne 14-4.  Madi drove in runs on a double in the fourth and a triple in the seventh.

In the first inning, Dublin got their offense started.  Caroline Piatt singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

There was a 2-hour delay for lightning but the Irish came back out swinging!

Scioto tallied six runs in the seventh inning.  Taylor Henry, Sadie Jauregui, Isabella Jauregui, Comstock, and Piatt powered the big inning with RBIs.

Henry led things off on the mound for the Irish. The righthander went seven innings, allowing four runs on four hits, striking out five and walking one.

M. Lee started the game for Gray Wolves. The pitcher allowed five hits and five runs over three and a third innings, striking out two.  B. Boue threw three and two-thirds innings in relief.

Dublin Scioto tallied another home run on the day. Jauregui hit the long ball in the fourth inning — her 3rd HR of the season.

The Irish had 14 hits in the game.  Piatt, Jauregui, Jauregui, Comstock, and Hunter Fadorsen all managed multiple hits for Dublin Scioto.  Piatt led the team with three hits in five at bats.

J. Janosy went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Wolves in hits.
